12 Months!

We officially have a one year-old! It seems absolutely impossible that Crew is one and entering the toddler stage. Excuse me while I grab a tissue. It seems like it was just yesterday that we brought our tiny little baby home from the hospital. We were nervous and clueless new parents, but we felt a love for our baby that we had never felt before. That love grows more and more with each day. Crew is our whole world, and we are so incredibly lucky we were chosen to be his parents.
Milestones: Crew has stood by himself a few times, but when he realizes he's doing it, he drops really quickly! He's walking really well when scaling things, but still hasn't built the confidence to let go. It'll come soon I'm sure! He dances, plays patty cake, points, waves hi and buh bye, and flexes his muscles. He recently cut his 10th tooth! He's got a nice set of chompers, our boy.


Likes: He loves pointing at things and saying "dat," almost as if he's saying "What's that?" He likes opening drawers, crawling away from us and giggling when we play the "I'm gonna getchu" game, bath time, books, going on wagon rides in his Crew wagon, feeding Mama his puffs, music, eating paper, waving at people and cars as they drive by, and his lion stuffed animal, Leo.

Dislikes: Diaper changes, colds, and getting dressed.

Dear Crew, 

Happy 1st Birthday! You have grown into such a loving and fun little boy. You are happy, curious, silly, and can be a little stubborn at times (you get that from your father). We have so much pride in everything you are.  Thank you for bringing so much joy and happiness into our lives.  We love you, Bubba.
