10 Months!

We are in trouble! Crew started crawling this month and he has been crawling everywhere and getting into everything! He is Mr. Independent now and loves exploring. We're not sure of his stats this month... his next appointment is his one year appointment.

Milestones: Crawling forwards! Our little Crewser can really cruise now! He started pulling himself up by furniture and has just begun scaling along it. He likes to get up into the downward dog yoga pose and loves walking around if we're holding his hands. He just sprouted his seventh tooth and another one is just about to break through (teething is not fun!). This month he celebrated is first Valentine's Day. He still says Mama and Dada, but it's hard to tell if he is associating the words with us. This month he started waving to people, too! Oh, how did I almost forget this?! He's sleeping through the night now!!!


Likes: He loves crawling after Poopsie (she HATES it!) and dumping her water dish. He really loves to splash in the water. Bath time is still his favorite time with story time before bed a close second. He's been loving his Happy Baby Creamies snacks and puffs. He loves squash, sweet potatoes, and all fruits. He's still not a big fan of eating big people food, but he's getting closer to being ready I think.

Dislikes: Peas, getting his diap changed, and bonking into things. This is kind of funny. Crew has a crib projector thing that plays music. You can either turn it to just play the melody or turn it to having a voice sing the songs. We played it for him when he was very little and every time he would hear the woman's voice start singing, he'd start to cry hysterically! We just tried it again, and sure enough, he still hates that woman's voice and cries like he's scared when she starts to sing! It's the strangest thing.

Dear Crew James,

You are two months away from turning one! How can that even be possible?? You are really starting to figure out the world, and we love watching you discover. You make every day a little brighter and make us happier with every smile, wave, and face grab. I hope you always know how special you are to us.
