Whoa. I have a ton of posts to catch up on. So I'm going to start with Ivie Girl's 2 month stats!
Since she's almost three months now, I took some notes a couple weeks ago so I could do this post. ;)
At six weeks old, Ivie gave me her first smile! It was so cute! Here is a picture of one of her first few smiles she gave to Daddy. Isn't she a sweetie?!
She's been a pretty good sleeper since the beginning. A couple days after turning two months old she had her first 8-hour continuous stretch of sleep. Heaven!
At her two month check-up the doctor was surprised at how strong her head and neck were. I actually get a lot of comments about that from other people too. I say it's because Ivie's head is so much smaller than Crew's was. ;) She weighed in at 12 pounds, 5 ounces and was 23 inches long.
Favorite things? Being snuggled, bath time with Crew, smiling at her family, and fresh air. She likes to be carried around and look out at things. She's also constantly moving. Whenever she's laying in her bouncer or swing she looks like she's trying to do sit-ups and get up.
Dislikes? Reflux. We have another reflux baby. :( She was uncomfortable and crying a LOT. Since getting her on Zantac at her two month appointment she has been so much happier and more comfortable. She has a "witching hour" and can get quite cranky just before bedtime. She doesn't hate diaper changes like she used to, so that's great!
Here are her two month pictures and some others!
Ivie,
I'm so sorry I haven't been as good at updating the blog for you. I promise I will try to be better. You continue to bring so much happiness into our lives. You have the most beautiful smile, and you're looking more and more like your brother every day. My favorite part of the day is when I go to you at your night wakings and, as soon as you see me, you light up with the hugest smile! It melts my heart every time. Thank you for being you, little girl. You are so loved.
A million kisses,
Mommy and Daddy
