Man of the House

When Daddy's gone at work, Crew is the man of the house!

Success! x2

We have had one heck of a time trying to get Mr. Crew to take a bottle. I'm so happy and relieved to report that he is FINALLY taking one consistently without fighting it or crying! I was starting to get really worried since I have to go back to work at the end of next month. I even gave him a couple myself, but I had to put him on the boppy pillow and hide behind him:

We are also happy to report that Crew has also started taking a pacifier! He would make a disgusted look and push it out with his tongue every time, but, when Mom was over a couple of days ago, she gave it to him and he took it! He's been getting better at taking it since. This will hopefully *cross our fingers* help cutdown his night-wakings.

More Cousin Fun

Crew and Mommy hit up the splash pad again this past weekend. This time we went with Lisa, Lisa's mom Lori, Payton, my mom, and my cousin Russell's kids,
Ava and Kale. I cannot wait to see Crew splashing around there next summer!

Crew and Cousins

Last weekend was a great one! Jake, April, Layla, and Maya came to visit. As always with them, it was a fun visit!

Here's the Sherman gang! Layla loved holding Crew and making him smile. Crew liked to watch the girls being silly!

On Saturday morning we went to Chalk Fest in the 400 Block downtown. The artwork was awesome! Crewser slept the whole time, but I'm sure he'll enjoy it next year!

The guys going to hit up the cheese curds truck!

The artwork was awesome!

Mine and April's favorite...

Still snoozing. He was such a good boy that day!

The girls got to create their own chalk masterpieces!

Viola! All finished! Beautiful work girls!

Back at home! Crew loves his cousins!

On Sunday the guys went for a run up Granite Peak ski hill.

The view from the top is stunning!
While Jake and Jeremy went for their run,  we went to the Splash Pad at Marathon Park. I used to love going there as a kid. The girls had fun!

We went for a train ride at the park too!

Then it was time for them to go. :( I think these three pics below show how much fun the kids had! These were taken about five minutes after they left our house.

We can't wait to see them again!
