Happy Birthday Jeremy!!! I love you so much! 

                    

30 Weeks

How big is the peanut? Baby should be close to 3 pounds now and and roughly 15.7 inches long.

Maternity clothes? Yes.

Sleep? Good sleep is still getting harder and harder to get. 

Best moment this week? We got our first shower gift this week! :) It was from my friend, Amanda. She lives in New Hampshire and won't be able to make it to the shower, so her gift was sent to me. I was going to wait to open it, but she insisted I open it early. :) I put a pic of it below. Thank you, Manda!! 

Worst moment this week? Let's just say Jeremy is NOT allowed to make me laugh really, really hard again. :-/ Haha! Embarrassing. 

Food cravings? I don't know, but my morning OJ was just tasting "good" for me this week. Usually it's heaven in my mouth. Maybe it's the end of my OJ craving? I'm still craving more sweet things though than anything else.

Food aversions? Nope.

Gender? My family seems to be leaning toward guessing Baby Sherman is a boy. I think they're wrong, but we'll see! :) 

Belly button in or out? Out. I didn't burn it or anything this week though, so that's good. My cousin, Delanie, kept poking it at Kale's birthday party though. I'm glad someone's amused by this thing. 

What I miss? Sleeping on my stomach. I can't wait to be able to do that again!

Movement? Yep, Baby has some very active days and some lazy days. 

How am I feeling? Same old, same old. My rib pain is the worst. :(  

What I'm looking forward to? Jeremy's birthday is this week!

Kale and Cousins

We went over to my cousin Russell's house yesterday to have cake and ice cream for his son, Kale's 3rd birthday. We told them to make funny faces for a picture, and Kale's face was priceless!

These pictures were taken earlier in the week, before the big snow storm Thursday. We, like everyone else in WI, are sooo sick of winter!!! Jeremy finally broke down and bought a snowblower this week. Can't wait to see that green grass on our lawn again!

Leah and Kaden came to visit this past weekend. Kaden was on the move the whole time! I can't believe how big he's getting! 

29 Weeks

11 more weeks to go! 

How big is the peanut? Baby should be around 2 and a half pounds (holy moly!) and a little over 15 inches long. 

Maternity clothes? Yep. I got my shower dress in the mail yesterday. :) 

Sleep? It's getting more and and more difficult to get comfortable at night. I'm supposed to sleep on my side, but I wake up feeling like my ribs are being crushed. I'm not supposed to sleep on my back, but I often wake up that way... whoops! And, I can't sleep on my belly, obviously, so I'm pretty much out of luck. It's funny, when I start to roll over a bit onto my tummy in my sleep, the baby will kick (hard!) until I wake up and move. :) 

Best moment this week? I had two best moments this week. One: Having our ultrasound, even though baby hardly showed us his/her face! Baby kept covering it up with his/her hands! :( We did find out our little one has hair though. That was really cool to see! Two: Valentine's Day! My valentine surprised me with roses, a certificate for a prenatal massage, and he grilled steaks on the grill for us! Am I lucky or what?! I love my husband! 

Worst moment this week? Aches and pains.

Food cravings? OJ and fruit

Food aversions? Nope.

Gender? I still think this little nugget is a girl. 

Belly button in or out? Out... so out, in fact, that I burned it on the stove cooking pancakes yesterday. This thing is becoming a safety hazard, and it needs to go back in!!! 

What I miss? This week I was missing my aunt Cynthy, who became an angel five years ago Sunday.  

Movement? Yes, Baby was moving a LOT on Valentine's Day. Too many sweets for mama! 

How am I feeling? Blah. Haha... that pretty much sums it up. 

What I'm looking forward to? May, warmer weather, and meeting this little miracle. 

28 Weeks

THIRD TRIMESTER!!! We've officially made it to the home stretch!

How big is the peanut? About 2 and a quarter pounds and 14.8 inches

Maternity clothes? Yes

Sleep? Not the best, but not too bad either.

Best moment this week? Having snow-free roads to drive on the work all week long!

Worst moment this week? Other than my ribs and back hurting all the time, it was a pretty good week.

Food cravings? OJ and fruit

Food aversions? Nope.

Gender? 12 weeks until we find out! 

Belly button in or out? Out

What I miss? Being comfortable.

Movement? Yep, I feel the movement very low... on the very bottom part of my belly bump.

How am I feeling? Meh... achy, uncomfortable, and peeing a lot more than usual. I know it'll all be worth it though come May. :) 

What I'm looking forward to? Our ultrasound on Tuesday!!!!!!!! I am so, so, so excited to see the baby again. I'm also looking forward to spending Valentine's Day with my wonderful hubby. 

27 Weeks

How big is the peanut? Right around 2 pounds and 14 and a half inches

Maternity clothes? Yes

Sleep? Ok

Best moment this week? Hearing baby's heartbeat at my appointment on Tuesday. It was strong and in the 140s. :) 

Worst moment this week? I got my first couple nights of heartburn this week. The top of my stomach/rib cage has been really hurting this week, too. :(

Food cravings? OJ and anything sweet!

Food aversions? Nope.

Gender? Not sure... it'll be the best surprise!

Belly button in or out? Out

What I miss? I MISS WARM WEATHER!

Movement? Yep. Baby Bunsie had a couple days of little movements which had me worried, but he/she's been kicking like crazy again. 

How am I feeling? Other than the aches and pains, I'm great!

What I'm looking forward to? This is the last week before the 3rd trimester!!! WOOO HOO!!! 13 more weeks! Get cooking Baby... Your mama and daddy are so excited to meet you! 

Baby's Crib

Baby Sherman has a crib! We took a ride to Ikea last weekend and picked this crib up. We decided to go with the Sundvik crib. It had really good safety ratings and is simple and modern, just what I had in mind for Baby's room. 

Today I broke out my good ol' pink toolset and put this bad boy together. I think Jeremy will be impressed with his wife's skills! It was actually really easy, but don't tell him that. ;)
