Jer and I had our first lunch in our house today.  We cooked out, had a picnic, and Jeremy finished our water well part of the retaining wall. He did a great job!

House Visit

Jeremy and I went up to the house together yesterday to meet with our builder. The workers were working on the garage when we got there. They're hoping to have the garage framed by Wednesday morning so they can begin putting up the trusses for the roof.

We have to choose the siding type and color by Thursday. We're thinking of going with "Pebblestone Clay," which is a medium taupe color. :)

Today they built the tall living room wall. So, next comes the roof and garage!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Sorry we haven't updated in a little while. We've both been very busy this week at work. I have LOTS of pictures to post! :) 

First, on Friday night we went to Jake and April's house for Maya's first birthday party on Saturday. Maya is such a little peanut and just a smiley little lovebug! Check out the adorable pics from her party:

Happy Birthday, Little Miss Maya. We love you so much!

When I got back from Maya's party I met up with my friend from high school, Amanda. She was home visiting for the weekend. It's crazy to think we've been out of high school for ten years now! We went to El Mezcal for dinner and then to the Great Dane (microbrewery) afterward. We had tonnnnns of fun and it was so nice to spend time with her!
